flyers are the heavy favorites to win the yandle sweepskates, with news coming out that mez will be out long term, one of my favorite players and a very nice guy, holmgren has really gone hard for yandle.......the flyers will get it done by giving up no one too
also look out for a big offersheet to subban, the flyers are going for it all |

According to the folks over at Hockeybuzz.com, Jay Bouwmeester is still a member of the Calgary Flames because the trade offers the team has received so far "have been underwhelming" due to the veteran defenseman's hefty salary.
Of course, when a rumor originates from an anonymous blogger citing an unnamed source, it's wise to take it with a grain of salt. Still, with so many teams still in need of help on the blue line and Bouwmeester expendable after Calgary acquired Dennis Wideman in June, it might just explain why we're still waiting for something to happen here.

It's been widely publicized on main stream sports media that Bobby Ryan is available for trade....not just on Eklund's site so your post looks kind of ridiculous. - iLive4theLeafs
"Widely publicized' doesn't mean it's true, even if it is coming from "main stream sports media". This entire Bobby Ryan scenario is incredibly funny. Everybody on the planet has said the guy is available and on the trading block.............everybody but the one guy who has the ability to trade him, Bob Murray.

1. Toronto DEFINITELY has the assets to get Kipper...not that they would be traded but: Gardiner, Biggs, Colborne, Percy, Rielly, Finn, Ahston, Kadri...but you're right, TO doesn't have the assets]2 & 3. Feaster and the whole Flames franchise is a joke. At least the Leafs FINALLY realized that they weren't a playoff calibre team, and somewhat did a rebuild. Flames are a 10th place team refusing to acknowledge they need a rebuild BAD. They have nothing coming up the pipeline, and aging vets in their lineup. They should trade Kipper and Iggy to stockpile assets.

The only 2 on that list worth anything are Gardiner and Reilly. And they are untouchable according to Burke. So yes they have NO ASSETS WORTH OFFERING |

Komisarek, 3rd and D'Amigo seems fair.... - Nucker101
no no no...
TML need to keep those three - in order to move Komisarek, D'Amigo and Connolly to Vancouver for Luongo & Tanev. |

so... just a queston of opinion really, if Kadri, Biggs, Ashton, Blacker, Holzer, D'Amigo, Colborne are of no or little value... how would you rate the Flames prospects?
and you are saying that Calgary should hang onto Kipper until he's so old and worn out he has no value? |
