I have never heard of a player htat has never played in the Junior leagues getting sent there on assignment?

is it like an affiliate deal?

I would think they would want him in Rochester getting used to the speed of that game and building chemistry with all of his teammates. IMO.

I think as far as Jr teams go Kelowna has his rights or whatever. It was either he went there or Vermont before he signed the contract with us. He can go to Kelowna. Because he's coming out of the USHL everything is a little different.

Wrong, hes European and played in the USHL last year, thus allowing him to play in the AHL NHL, or CHL this year. Had he'd of played in the CHL last year, it would be NHL or CHL for him like Grigorenko.

I think Buffalo is delaying it because they want to sign him to a short term 2-3 year deal... but if he is indeed traded to Anaheim they will want to sign him to a longer term contract than that.

I think if we announce the signing of Ennis.. it would mean we are done trying to make a deal for Ryan... my feeling.

Hitch used Stewart as if he was an enforcer or Lucic type player.. he had him over 100 PIMs.. that is not Stewarts game at all..

Stewart is a big body that likes to hit and snipe in some good passes.. he is essentially another 25/25 or even 30/30 type player just like Bobby Ryan is..
