In the Regehr trade last year, didn't we get Calgary's 2nd and then traded it back to them at the draft this year to pick Girgs? |

Didnt realise how bad he was. Could it be do I now like Sekera better than someone on the D? Well ill put all my money down on him not being resigned and McNabb takes his sport. Dont think Leo will be resigned either so there is another opening for whomever steps up. |

close, lefty...
it allowed them to trade their own 2nd back and still have calgary's 2nd...(not much difference, only a few spots) |

regehr 4 years ago is exactly what we need
just like when we got rivet, we were 4 years too late IMO
I would take Hal Gill over Regehr right now |

Kevin Freiheit: Robyn Regehr ready to rebound - KevinJames
Thank you Kevin! Here we have a Blogger that makes for a much better to read, but yet the "other guy" gets all the posts! It's frustrating... I mean Kevin's Blog has so much more in his favor:
1) No spelling errors
2) Informative, without a lot of added pictures that have nothing to do with blog
3) Titles that match what's inside
4) No "Stalker" qualities whatsoever!!!
... and that is for starters!
SOLID! |

the trade was Calgary dealt the 14th pick to Buffalo for the 21st pick and Buffalo's own 2nd rd pick (42). |

ya gotta watch it when bringing in physical, shut-down d-men out of their 20's...
their shelf-life is much shorter due to their style of play and the speed of the nhl, especially in the east...(the rivet rule of thumb)
they're more effective in the playoffs when things tighten up |

Hal Gill is solid, but I would give it about a month before people started complaining about him as well. Gill is a very slow defenseman. His reach often makes up for that, but when he does get beat, it looks bad. |
