Ok child, you've proven yourself to be an absolute joke. You clearly weren't alive the last time the Habs won the cup, which I should remind you was a really really long time ago. You in no way have my respect.

hmm I've seen the last 2 parades actually, I saw them beat the penguins and the caps in the series, I watched them beat the bruins year after year in the playoffs, I've watched them come back from a 1-3 series...

We dont even consider the Habs a rival. I know I dont and I have watched this game for over 40 years.

I should really retract my statement, this is par for the course from Candiens fans. The Leafs suck, but at least thier fans are realistic about it. The Habs score the first goal in a wednesday night game and the team celebrates like they just scored in OT game 7 of the stanley cup. Ticker tape falls from the ceiling while we are the champions plays on the PA. Fans embrace and fathers cry at this moment. Canadiens go on to lose to the Islanders 4-2.

Pal, watching them on youtube doesn't count.

Unless of course you are admitting you are at least 34 years old and this is how you think and act? I'm not sure which is worse.

With just about identical records over the last 10 years the sabres have managed to win an average of 1.8 games more per year then the habs....I never once said the habs were a great team, but with every single comment you guys make you just make more and more fun of your own team....keep it up boys...finishing before last is quite the accomplishement.

sabres-411-303-93.....habs 393-314-97....if its been a long time since our last cup thats a good thing cause you guys are gonna know just about how long its gonna take till you win your next one!!!

Yeah, you would likley have been at least 34 years old to have been at both parades and remembered them. I didn't say it happened 34 years ago idiot. That would have made you 15 and 8 years old respectively. Unless you're telling me you were a newborn in 86' and you have a vivid memory of a drunken parade in Montreal?

Why don't you go and worry about your own team?
It seems like you care about the Sabres more than habs!
Or maybe you are a typical troll.

ok your talking about a season that has yet to start....the habs arent tough, didnt need you to fill me in on that one...the sabres have done lots to change the image of the team and I do think they will be a much tougher team to play this season...I just think Kaleta should not return to the team...I think the sabres should of went after a Prust type player to replace her....Max Lapierre was the same type of player and he was no big loss to the habs fans...Kaleta is the same type of player...she's not putting up many points, she's suspended on a regular basis, she's injured every other game and she gets every team pumped to the max when they know she's in the lineup. Im expecting this season to be his last as a Sabre and in the NHL to be quite honest...she's just another player who attracts attention for the wrong reasons.

I forgot McCormick was still on the team eating up 1.2 million dollars, please someone take the check book away from Darcy. He blows extra $500,000-1,000,000 like it's nothing then cries that he has no cap room. Might as well re-sign Ellis for 1.2 million also, him Kaleta and McCormick can all make 1.2 mill and play 2 mins.

Outside of New York City, about 50 miles, it becomes Sabres regional territory. Unfortunately, those of the rest of us, in Upper New York State, have to tolerate watching these bums 82 times a year. The Rangers get blacked out, about 25% of the time, with the Devils and Islanders getting the blackout about half the time. Most people in New York State hate this situation and don't want the Sabres to control such a big area. We'd rather have all of the New York/New Jersey teams, on without blackout. The Sabres were brutal to watch, last season!

I'd love to see a 4th line of...
Kaleta-Gerbe-Tropp

Assuming Gerbe can play center

This group is nice & gritty,
Would be tough to play against
But with Gerbe & Tropp... You've also got some goal scoring potential
And Kaleta has shown some skill at times

I think that group has the potential to score 30+ goals and be one of the best 4th lines in the league
