This is actually the most civil Canucks thread we have had in months. |

You can play wing. What I said was to be the best you need to be a 1st liner, 2 way player. You can troll that all you want. - Bieksa#3
Far be it from me if i am trying to understand your reasoning and version of what a powerforward is... |

I enjoy a different take on certain perspectives one obtains from a canuck thread. |

Ian Esplen has had some good blogs lately. Cloutier keeps blogging about the same crap all the time |

You make good points and the reason why I asked the questions. The B's lineup is tough to gauge because I agree that the best power forward must be playing on the first line. And for the B's, Lucic does play on the first line according to the minutes he logs every night. And he's often been referred by his coach as being on the first line. - Hockey_Hoser
According to his minutes? Lucic is 4th most in ice time amung forwards on his team. Believe it or not most teams don't put their 3 best players on one line. |

I cannot say i am a fan of Cloutier, or Garf either, his obsession with Doan is pretty much stalker like. |

In his defense it is tough to stay fresh when you're doing a daily blog in the off-season. A bunch of the bloggers here take weeks off between blogs. |

Doesn't this squash another theory of yours? Killing your own theory is a new one even for HB. |

Especially considering Doan doesn't seem interested at all in a move to BUF. I get it if the trail is hot but... |

I give Ian a lot of credit. I know there are people that don't always agree with his opinion. (His desire to sign Semin was way out there ) but he usually has a blog up every 24 hours and he includes league topics, not just Canucks stuff, which must be hard on August 2. |

I understand spreading out the offense but still your first line is your first line. Where you getting your stats from if you don't mind me asking? I'm getting different info (second hand info to be honest, from a friend who has that line tracker app that's out there....first seen it on Dobber but you have to pay for it now meh). It's the tracker where you put in the player's name and it shows you who he plays his most % of time with? Anyways my buddy's cousin sister's uncle says Lucic plays majority of his time with the first line. But I don't know for sure so I'd love to see your source if I may. |

and God do I ever hate the Canucks but find myself reading Ian's blogs and Yost (and I really hate the Sens) the most because they actually seem to contribute some sense and intelligence in their hockey opinions. |

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Doan has been described as Mr. Loyalty and Mr. Character, so if that holds true he should sign with a contender at a lower price then 30 Mil. If he is looking for one more cash grab before retirement then he will take the 30 mil in Buffalo. |

Have you seen some of those contracts? Pretty sure all teams are overpaying, damn. |
