Not sure what that means?
by that comparison do you mean in a few years of continued futility they will all want to be traded to the Rangers? or a list of teams chosen by the player(s)?

In regards to player potential you said "The team must succeed for it to be realized."

Columbus has always sucks with Rick Nash and yet he is still regarded as a player who has reached his potential.

I do not believe Nash will be the force needed for success, that the Rangers believe they are getting.

Very good player? Yes...but the guy needed to make a strong push for the cup? Not so sure...

Nash doesn't have to be the main man in New York.

Thanks tips. Your initial statement was could we agree that those 3 have realized their potential. I am simply disagreeing. Both as individuals and as a core group, they haven't yet accomplished enough to say they are no longer considered to just be players with potential. That is in fact, exactly what they are.

What do they have to accomplish for you to recognize that they are legit NHL talent who have all lived up to their hype.

One season of good offensive numbers does prove anything other than potential. Same as Gagner. His rookie season was great and everyone said how awesome this kid was going to be. So far, he is good, but in my opinion, he hasn't lived up to the hype. He may still become that highly skilled offensive talent everyone thought he'd be,but so far, he's average.

All your new kids have skill and talent but so did Schremp.
