Hudler 5'9 and 28
Voracek 6'1 and 22

Crazy isnt it? I dont fault the Flyers for making the deal. The money getting thrown around these days by everyone is crazy. - Kovaltron
Look at what Cole Hamels just got. the money athletes make is just ridiculous. and the best part is we sit here and say good deal. we are nuts too |

Seems like alot of money for a guy with 18 goals last season. 4.25 per? - Kovaltron
You pay a heck of a lot more for briere who gave you 16 last year and about 23 a year on average....seems like a bargain in comparison. |

Clearly spoken by someone who has never watched a minute of Voracek's game besides a Leafs vs. Flyers game from last season. |

You can't hold such a high standard as having watched outside your own Hockey market in order to post on here. You wouldn't have very many people left. |

so Giroux makes $3.75M/year and Voracek makes $4.25M/year.
Hartnell only makes $4M/year.

I was looking at Voracek as a Gagner indicator, but Gagner signed first... maybe next year when Gagner needs a re-up he'll get that kind of contract. |

I like what Voracek brings to the ice...
He reminds me of a better Zubrus... - Devils Advocate
That's a good comparison. I think Zubrus is a little stronger defensively and Voracek stronger as a playmaker but that is a good assessment |

Ya ask Nashville about that... or Minny... |

Voracek is solid. He is still very young and is on the verge of a break out season. This could be a very good deal for both. As of right now he is going to be slotted top play Giroux's wing which should increase his points tremendously. Voracek is also a very reliable defensive player. 4.25 is a good number. - flyers2001

Sarcasm? 18 goals, tough on the boards, good play-making ablity, solid defense. Pretty good signing IMO |

Most likely scenario is that salaries would be rolled back if the cap is dropped. |
