Somebody tell me the tweets about the schenn bros to ANA for Ryan + a Dman arent worth anything.

I dont have the exact source but it seems to be everywhere with retweets

I'd have to think it's one of those insider guys...if they wouldn't trade Schenn for Shea Weber, why would they trade him and his brother for Ryan and an unnamed defenseman?

Because Russ is smart.

He's based in Philly, though. He's a great guy. Knew him from the internets and met him at the rookie camp. Sharp guy knows his stuff.

I agree with others, better have Fowler tagging along with Ryan. This probably isn't true, but I really need to think about this type of trade because I still think Brayden is going to be a stud. Unless the organization is sold Laughton will be a very good center in a few years to lessen the loss.

This is the same country where there is a huge rise in people buying guns for "protection" after the theatre shootings. So you will excuse me in not basing my posts purely on the norms of the USA.

What does that have to do with anything? Other than my favorite flavor being out of stock temporarily.

I was esp looking forward to the b scheen vs crosby battles in the years to come. He played with a lot of confidence at times during the year and was throwin his body around everwhere during that 1st round series...not yet homer, not yet

Hard for me to trust a guy with 2 first names

Plus, isn't it odd for a guy his age to still go by Bobby? I think he lacks maturity.

Bobby Clarke, just sayin.

I dont see this. I dont trust it.

That being said, I have neen saying all f'ing along that Ryan was the target. Now that it is playing out, everyone will jump on.

- Daman

Considering the interest in Nash, I think they want a true scoring winger for G. Most of the wingers on the team are good in front of the net, but not the polish of a Ryan off the rush. Long-term, if both Schenns go, they must think Laughton will be the real deal. Fowler is an interesting prospect, number #1 potential, but a lot of learning.

Would anyone trade the Schenn's for Ryan and Sbisa or Ryan and Fowler?

It would have to be a multi-player deal, one for one (Schenn for Ryan) doesn't make a whole lot of sense. There would have to be one of their young d-men involved because they have a decent amount of organizational depth on the blueline.
