I suspect as they loose more money wilson will gain a larger share of the pie...Once he has majority control he will move that team to canada that same night...where the real profits are. Nashville fans are kidding themselves if they think wilson is looking out for their best interests. hes just dreaming of the profits that are going to come in a canadian market. that team is gone in 4 yrs max.

having JVR obviously gives us more forward depth so moving schenn is not as much of a loss...pretty obvious. I'll repeatedly push pk and bogo as 2 guys that are worth pursuing because I believe in their potential...seems like many others are coming to similar conclusions. we'll have to see if they reach their potential. it appears as if bogo would be more available.

I dont recall saying that you would object to moving b schenn...you keep harping on how I'm selling his brother short, but my point is that homer shouldn't have been involved w/ Luke to begin with if we were left with such an obvious need. save the asset and use a more valuable asset to get the plyr w/ the higher ceiling and you've made one move to accomplish your goal. right now, the flyers have good plyrs but a questionable mix and injury concerns.

maybe you ought to read my original post instead of parsing words...or better yet, move on, cause if you don't get what I said earlier- id rather have JVR/bogo than the schenns - then this is all a waste of time. it's pretty clear that I think that homer acted too soon getting rid of JVR and the rest of the concept is pretty simple. we just disagree...

I read exactly what you said. Speaking of straw man arguments, I have no idea how a few posters saying that it seems as though Holmgren doesn't want to trade B. Schenn, turns into posters giving you hell for wanting to deal for a young high potential defenseman. Or how it makes B Schenn a "sacred cow".

And as I said before, I'd rather have a lot of players. But it isn't NHL 12. Luke Schenn was available in a trade. So far it seems as though Bogosian isn't.
