Yes I am going to go with worse blog I mean come on RDP. While the Rangers get Nash we talk about guys not wanting to play here and then RDP who is irrelevant to this team. Worse blog. Please I know this is evil but for the sake of the team I hope there is another Rolston out there to shoot a puck at his head - kasperrko

yikes you want to talk about taken a step for the worse.

“My deal was probably the first deal, but it’s straight through. Average salary, it’s not front loaded, it’s not back loaded, there’s no incentives. It is what it is and that’s it. When we were negotiating the contract I said ‘Listen, I don’t want to play in the NHL for another team. This is the team.’ I love where I am.”
I could almost see the tears welling up in Kaspers eyes.....heartwarming! - keaner17
I love how he's trying to sell his contract in an interview. I would've rather his (frank)ing contract be front loaded. What a jackass. Love the timing with this blog right after Visnovsky said he didn't want to play here. I wonder if any other fans have any concept of what it's like to be an Islander fan? I also wonder where "fans" like Dee come from? |

I Agree they just might be unwatchable again or maybe thatis what Wang wants who knows. Obviously he could care less about winning or being a decent club |

Considering she had no idea who Kharlamov was when talking to Khabanov...along with countless other notorious gaffs in her blogs I would definitely say she's not a very avid "hockey" fan just the Islanders.
Her thinking Jason Blake is the second coming but to other teams he's the most loathed players due to his underproduction and overpayment after he sat on Yashin's wing...proves to me she wasn't even around for the 93 team. For someone to say Jason Blake was their all time favorite Islander means they sure as heck haven't seen a lot of Islanders. |

pretty obvious what your motives are with this post. More of a continuation of yours from last night I'm guessing? Anyone who is a fan of this team no matter which side of the fence they stand on deserves an award. Your logic with this being the fans fault is reprehensible. Let it go, it makes you look foolish. Just ask Dee.
Edit; Maybe you can be our new blogger? We all haven't been tortured enough |

Some people see the silver lining with this team. Most people dont understand there is no silver lining and it is proved every single year. This year should be a doozy though. I mean come on RDP is back baby the cup is ours. I feel it. We have the best coach in the league best farm system which will bring us to glory this year and a GM well What is there to say the ARCHITECT of this brilliant club. There is a lot to be happy about |

This article is so laughable.....please save us the misery of having to read about this clown. Between the Rangers getting Nash, the Flyers getting Webber it is another awesome offseason on Long Island. Wang and his idiots can't leave soon enough... |

My problem with his post from yesterdays comments was him blaming the fans for this team's failures. It had nothing to do with any "silver linings". |

I think they are assigned by Wang and Snow to infilitrate the real fanbase with their nonsense and brainwashing articles. No real fan can actually look at the Islanders and actually believe in the B.S. they put out there |

i actually happen to agree...the atlantic is bulking up with nash, weber(?). isles get the news that their "biggest" acquisition doesnt in fact want to play for them and the very next day dee decides now is a good time to bring up how RDP is a nice guy.
who gives a (frank)??? can he play hockey???

The issue is there are not enough die hard fans on the Island.
Politics will prevent any new arena.
The people of Long Island and the casual fans do not care if they stay or go.
I think the die hards like you will miss this team alot.
You are in the minority though.
I don't mind if a die hard fan cuts up the team... but it kills me to see others do it.

My sentiments exactly. How can you be a fan of this team, have reasonable intelligence and somehow maintain some kind of allegiance to Snow and or Wang? It baffles the mind. |

Yes, we get it, you want the team to move. You're not going to get much agreement from Isles fans on this board. |
