He grew up in Cherry hill with Bob Clarke as his Godfather. You don't think he wants bad as hell to play here? - JoeRussomanno
He lived in Cherry Hill until he was 10 and doesn't really consider it his "home town".

Pietrangelo's asking price would probably begin and end with Giroux, so I'd guess not. |

Anyone else as devastated as I was when I heard the news?
So whats plan Z? Ryan? Yandle? - FLYERSROCK!
ek's right about one thing. Flyers ownership is always trying to get the pieces to win the cup. they are in on every single big deal going... and not just in a little way either.. |

After thinking a bit last night, I'm honestly a bit surprised the OS wasn't like $125M over the 14 years or something. We'll never know, but I wonder what the breaking point really would have been. Maybe it's possible there wouldn't have been one at all I guess |

They can always try and sign him in 14 years when he becomes an UFA. |

A max yearly salary right? They could have had more money tied up in years 6-9 or however it was structured. Frankly the OS was a fair cap hit and Nashville is getting a good deal on that end. |

It'd be interesting to see Weber's reaction. I always wanted to be here.. didn't want to go to evil Philly it was just so ownership would get this done.. can't wait to lead the team to a cup as it's captain..etc etc |
