Ha. Thought I would at least ask. He would've have filled so many of our needs along the blue line.

Lets see what Weber has to say. He is the only person that counts and at some point he will have to talk. - stveshdy
He'll say all the right things a professional should say. And then he'll bring his "A" game night in and night out, just as he always has.
You have to remember, he knew even after he signed the OS that there was a good chance he would end up back in Nash for quite a while as their captain so he along with his agent and Poile will not spin this any other way but positive. |

Come on guy don't knock on Luke... I think he might surprise the hell out of people I can't wait - Philly1980
I been a Luke Schenn supporter but I dont know if right now hes a number one defenseman. Still alittle raw with his game. |

flyers are a very young team. Do not trade the 23 and under club except prospects. |

No he's not a #1 defenseman. And most likely will never be one. I don't think anyone thinks he is, or expects him to be one.

I'd be kind of suprised if they didn't. They will score goals this year. On defense would Enstrom be worth a first rounder at trade deadline? Not sure,

I agree. All I said is Rick Nash situation couldnt be compared to Yandle. Someone said Weber just did the same thing and they signed him. I still believe Weber will be happy in Nashville. You dont risk signing the offer sheet if you know theres a chance they could match. He might not get the money he received today but UFA was available for him next year if he wanted out bad enough. |

It's going for something. Whether it's soon or at the trade deadline, they won't have it.
Probably trade it for JBo tomorrow |

Ok, here's an exercise for the knowledgable hockey guys. List the Flyers top 3 puck moving Dmen and then rank them long with Enstrom, Yandle and Gogo. |

I think tops and I mean tops is number two when he fully develops. But he isn't the wreck Toronto fans make hi out to be. |

Heard Yandle could be tradable with the growth of Larson. No idea what it would take. |

I think Enstrom and Yandle move the puck better than anyone we have. My opinion of course. |

To put in context... Luke has 4 season in NHL already. At this age weber was in the ahl. There's a reason Nashville wanted him. All we know of him is what we hear from Toronto people... Ask 100 flyers fans about jvr and 90 of them will tell you he sucked. - Philly1980
???
At 21, here are Weber's numbers: 79 17G 23 A +13
In his 22nd year he had some bad injuries and played only past of the season.

that would be a reflex trade that would kinda sicken me. jbo is the equivalent of an innings eating pitcher with a 4.50 era. lots of time on the ice, great stamina, yet very little production...often invisible. |
