If you were realistic, you would have realized from day 1 he wasn't coming here. And you be calm and relaxed like me
- Deasr1

I am realistic in thinking Nashville will match but then I saw Weber photoshopped in a Flyers jersey and fandom took over.

really old news.....Shannon could simply be referring to Gillis ....the GM in Vancouver who told a radio station yesturday that he didn't make an offer via an offer sheet because he felt that the Pred's would just match.....and that they wouldn't engage in any meaningful trade talk.....For every analyst thatt says they"ll match you can find one that says they won't.
This info from Shannon isn't new ...its a day old.

I have a friend coming in from Germany on Thursday. He's been here a few times already so I'm looking for some interesting/fun things to do when he arrives that we haven't done already. Anyone in the Philadelphia area have some suggestions for things do? Like I said he's done must of the Philadelphia standards.

Thanks in advance to anyone with suggestions.

Phillies game? Not sure if that's a Philly standard or not.
Northern Liberties? Bunch of craft beer bars could be fun for an out-of-towner.
Shore trip? Not quite Philly, but close enough.

I think we are definitely going to go to a phillies game as well as a union game. Also already have a shore trip planned. A buddy of mine lives in Northern Liberties so we will definitely be heading there as well.

Thanks!
