But that's not the point. The point is what production will they give you playing with better players on the Rangers. What production will those players give you in big games.

Are you saying that all those players are as good as Nash?

- MJL

obviously those players aren't as talented as nash, but they put up pretty damn similar numbers with crap around them.

it's like a game of chicken.....it really is. I think it's going to come down to last minute. and Nashville will match and be screwed losing money.
- flyersfan51

Possibly but maybe a trade can be worked out too. I wish I could find that article which quoted Bill Daly as saying that he thought a trade might work best for both teams.

They have. In my opinion Nash is one of the top Power Forwards in the game. Where there is a very good chance that he will be revitalized by this trade. And in playing with a better team, with better players. It's likely Nash returns to the upper echelon of goal scorers in the League. And he certainly adds a very dangerous element to the Rangers, and makes them a better team.

Bill, Rupp is still there. The Rags lost Prust, now Dubinsky. They did acquire Asham as well as Michael Haley. Neither as good as a hockey player, but they add grit.
- flyers2001

Good news for the Flyers. They wont be on the ice nearly as much as Dubinsky or Prust, and Rupp just sucks.

This is the post I replied about and was referring to. Regardless, I'm free to reply and discuss any post made, regardless of how long ago it was made. Today @ 1:05 PM ET

You're not the brightest bulb in the box, are you?

Anyone with half a brain would have realized the moment Sather said "We kicked the hell out you twice in the Stanley Cup", he spoke truly.

Both the '85 Oilers and their '87 counterparts did, in fact, kick the the hell out of 'you' in the Finals.

not like rangers play this raucous, offensive system, either. we'll see.

curious to see how rangers make up for the defense they've lost at forward, though. dubinsky and anisimov did a lot of heavy lifting for them.

I read those comments. But keep in mind what Daly's motivation is.

Couturier, Schenn, Schenn, Mez, and a 1st. Not sure Nashville would accept though.

I think Nashville is very happy with the Schenn Bros, they get a young center they desperately need and a top 4 physical young Dman to join their young promising defense plus 2 firsts.

I watched Eskin on Sunday night, and the focus was PSU (they had a great guest - board of trustees). Anyway, silence on hockey.

Has Eskin leaked anything on the Weber situation the last few days? There is really only one source on Flyers "inside" information, and that is the wolf-pack.
