take one out.

Mez, Read, two firsts, MAB, Gus sure

Definite no on adding either Schenns, Couts, Coburn

I personally would like to keep Voracek, I think he is going to be a huge player and will give other teams big match up problems with the Flyers for years. Giroux on one line and Jake/Couts or Jake/Schenn as the second... that would be my core going forward.

The 22nd? He has since taken that down then because it's not there now, unless I just didnt see it

I don't want to portay this as official.. just what they are posting as a screen shot on the Nash blog. We'll know for sure soon enough.

I stick by my prediction that we get him through a fair trade. With what Weber said about wanting to go to Philly etc, he's prob frustrated with Nash management. The league wouldn't want Nash to get raped by only getting the 4 picks.. I say it goes down late tomorrow. Also, I will admit that I am hoping Weber finds his way here.

Homer's done playing games. Either way he has stuck it to the Preds.

Yes, Ryan being younger and affordable plays into it. But what also plays into it is that Nash is signed for the next 6 years, while Ryan is for only 3.
- MJL

i think that's another bean on ryan's side. three years ago, dany heatley was one of the best goal scorers in the league. now...

nash likely doesn't perform up to his 7.8 cap hit as it is now. no damn way he will be close to that be come years 5 and 6, imo.

Maybe so, but Holmgren's objective isn't to stick it to the Preds.

I have heard from a source that works in the Flyers front office that Holm basically told them not to call again asking about Schenn and Couts to go ahead and match if you can. He is basically saying I'm calling your bluff. Also if they don't match expect to see Jak, mez and another to be in Ducks uniforms for Ryan

.Why won't Nash perform up to his Cap now, or in the next 5-6 years? Nash is 28 and is in his prime. Don't see that changing in the next 5-6 years. And if Ryan continues to elevate, your looking at possibly a higher Cap hit in the future.

Extreme overpayment for Ryan. You should've stopped at Jake.

The entire banter was tongue in cheek in preparation for the Alumni game. I can't believe anyone is taking that seriously.

IF you read it in context you would have seen it was a rip at a rangers troll.

Plus talk is that Anaheim is looking for a Center. If they trade Ryan at all. I wouldn't trade Voracek and Meszaros for Ryan. Let alone add something else.

My interpretation is Nashville is leaking that it will match unless #Flyers meet trade demands hoping to make Holmgren squirm and give in.

If nashville has the big pockets as they are claiming, and do match Weber. Does the city of Nashville get lawyered up and goto court over the 13 million in subsidies that they payed nashville?

Interesting. I am not focusing on much beyond Weber at this point. I want to see if we get him and if it's a trade.. what holes we need to plug. For the most part.. if Shea is here.. I think Homer can fill holes at forward, so I'm not worried. We need the no 1 dman though. Critical.

No. His job is to try and get the best player available and keep your direct compitetion from getting him... Mission accomplished. Sticking to the Preds is just gravy.

I would really like to know what the demands are. Is it one of Cooter schenn or both. If both no.. if one... talk even though I like B schenn.
