Apparently the hangup was in the language of the offer sheet. Homer used chomp instead of champ. Now that it's cleared up, Preds are ready to make a decision.

As I have said, I don't see him coming here. Re-sign Vorachek and maybe discuss a Ryan trade. Other than that, get a new CBA going so we don't have to wait till December or worse for hockey.

Speaking of, I just got back from my visit to my "second office".

Before I leave [again] for the day, I will go on record that Nashville has the power here, they will match unless the Flyers make a good offer, and it won't be suprising to me if they lock up Weber.

I would assume that Ryan would be the next target.
