something called Bauer hockey camp - Marc D
Why would he wear a Flyers jersey when he along with his brother, Cooter, Laughton, Meszaros, Coburn and 4 1sts are headed to Nash.. |

Or in the media. No one outside of academia ever uses it correctly, and even there you have only about a 25% chance. - bodiva88
Yes, but a lot of us wouldn't mind much of the media being shut down.
More seriously, I cringe every time I see blatant errors such as loose/lose. I think this is why my English major father refrains from much internet use. |

Thank God, the mods are here.
I am going to call it a day gentleman, as my shelf life is probably only an hour or so with these new circumstances.
Look forward to Weber Wednesday tomorrow!

Eh.. The ball is in Nashville's court. Philly just sits back and waits, knowing how long said wait would probably be while Poile, the owners, and their kids are all counting the money they've made during their candy sales fundraiser over the last 6 days. |

I'm so on the fence as to which way they are leaning. Like you said if they aren't even attempting to trade, maybe they feel like if the Flyers don't meet their demands they'll simply match the offer. I assume by now a decision has been made by ownership, and their simply going to wait til the 11th hour to make a decision.
At the same time, it blows my mine that Nashville made 26 million in ticket sales last year, yet we'll have to pay Weber 27 million in the first year. Like others have said countless time I would only part with Vorachek, Mez, and 2 first.
Side question, if the Flyers do pull off a trade, do they request the 13' draft pick back since it's here in Philadelphia? |

They are probably sorting out numbers to match it. If it doesn't work, then they'll take the 4 1sts. |

I would say Nashville bc he's played there. Flyers never had him and can spin it that the price was too high so they let them match. |

@sbaickerCSN: You can't read into the waiting game. Just because Nashville hasn't matched doesn't mean they definitely won't. There's still a day to go.
They have to make a decision soon cause time is running out! - stveshdy
If their decision is to take the 4 firsts straight up, or to trade those firsts to other teams for assets, they don't need to do anything at all; simply let the clock run out. If their decision is to match, they don't need to do anything until... 11:30 minus however long it takes to fill out the legal documents.
The only situation in which Nashville has to do something is if they want to deal with Philly, want it done as part of the Weber deal, and Holmgren isn't contacting them. Then they have to reach out to Philly to negotiate. Other than that, they can sit on their hands for as long as they like. |

I think Homer needs to start looking into different trades because Weber is not coming. They are wasting time. The longer this goes on, the better our rivals get. Re-sign Vorachek and let's move on to camp |
