Did Ryan's value lessen? If teams are looking for a top scoring line forward. There is now one less on the market.

As far as Ryan goes...no his value didnt lessen one thing that even I forgot is Nash had a partial NTC so he could dictate teams Ryan doesnt have that...I would watch out for teams that were reported to go after Nash but were not on his list or were priced out like Carolina or Ottawa.....as far as Ryan to flyers lets worry about Weber first and after that plays out then we can worry about possibly attaining Ryan if it is feasible

Rangers made out on that deal. Everyone knows Dubinsky is a punk (including Shelley).

Four pieces of coal doesn't equate to a diamond. I think the Rangers have some elite scoring to go with their defense, and they will be dangerous. Very dangerous.

I remember the Flyers, with a much better team, struggling against King Henry even when outplaying the Rangers (years back).

Don't kid yourself jabronis - Rangers are our top threat - with or without Weber.

Maybe b/c you aren't a Sabres fan. One guy told me that no intelligent fan thinks the Flyers are a legit S.C. contender.

It was a very unimpressive return for Nash by Columbus. It's okay to take one of Anisimov or Dubinsky as part of the return. But to not get one of the Rangers top young players as part of it, not a good deal.

I just want Weber and will be pissed for a day or 2 if we dont get him.......stupid tempering expectations didnt work......

yeah, Homer might be slightly more inclined to be more giving in a trade scenario.

Like the Flyers defense did last Season! Any defense, regardless of how good it is, would get exposed if it doesn't have the support of the forwards. Losing the forwards that the Rangers did today, is going to change how well they play defensively as a team.
Staal and Giradi are 2 very solid veteran defenseman, but not Number 1's. Girardi isn't better then any defenseman on the Flyers currently. Del Zotto and McDonaugh are future top puck moving defenseman, but not yet.
