Columbus center iceman Cole Sillinger had the hardest sophomore slump around the entire National Hockey League in the 2022-2023 regular season.

Sillinger was a bright spot in 21-22, being one of a select few to jump to the show after just being drafted that June out of the WHL.

In the back half of this past season, he got so cold he was sent to the minors in hopes to find his rhythm once again.

A couple of weeks ago, the club announced his jersey number swap from his #34 to now #4. Maybe, this switch will wipe his past forgettable season.

At just the young age of 20, he has to make an impact on the roster in the final year of his entry level contract.

Sillinger is in a tight race for forward ice time on the roster as there is little openings on the third line.

It is sink or swin time. Where does he stand? Where is he in your lineup?
