The Columbus Blue Jackets are back on their turf for a clash with the Arizona Coyotes at 7pm on Bally Sports.

The Coyotes made a plethora of moves to the depth of their roster, giving them a strong start to the season that some expected.

In

Sean Durzi was acquire via trade from the Los Angeles Kings.

Logan Cooley - the 2022 first round draft pick - signed as a free agent.

Nick Bjugstad returned as a free agent after being dealt at the deadline to Edmonton.

Jason Zucker joined Arizona after a rough round in Pittsburgh.

Zach Sanford signed as the former Capitals’ crew.

Alex Kerfoot got the bag in Ariozna.

Troy Stecher signed back after being traded in the brother Ritchie deal with Calgary.

Travis Dermott inked a deal after not being qualified with Vancouver and being the face to reverse the tape ban.

Matt Dumba surprisingly signed a short term deal.

Patrik Koch, Travis Barron, Matt Villalta, Monata Oneybuchi, John Leonard, and Justin Kirkland all are under contract and are mostly with Tuscon.

Out

Former first round pick Laurent Dauphin signed in Europe.

Former Sabres’ first round pick Zach Kassian was bought out and retired.

Connor Mackey signed with the Rangers.

Bokko Imama signed with Ottawa.

Christian Fischer was left unqualified and inked with Detroit.

Alex Galchenyuk, Liam Kirk, and Jean-Sebastian Dea had their contracts terminated all for different reasons.

Patrick Nemeth was bought out.

Ivan Prosvetov was claimed by Colorado.

Ariozna has had a strong start to the season, with dominant performances by their top young guns of Logan Cooley, Clayton Keller, and Matias Maccelli. Keeping them separated has provided offensive depth they have not had since the 2012 Conference Final run. Connor Ingram has been strong for them being 5-1 on the season. The young defenders are keeping up, and Columbus needs their offense to wake up and score.

Lineups are still appearing to be the same as last game, with Chinakov on the top line; Gaudreau on the third; and Jiricek in. Only known difference with Bemstrom waived is Oliver returns to the fourth line with a potential Danforth or Texier promotion.

Connor Ingram v Elvis Merzlikins is the goalie duel. Emil Bemstrom update coming at 2pm on bis future as he was waived.
