Eastern Conference:

New York Rangers (1) vs. Ottawa Senators (8)

New York has been too good all season long to be one and done. This is the best chance for Henrik Lundqvist to really solidify himself as an elite NHL goaltender. If he can't do it with this team than he may never do it. With that said... I like the Rangers in 6.

Boston Bruins (2) vs. Washington Capitals (7)

The Capitals may have won the season series but they are lucky to even be in the playoffs. The Bruins come into the series playing some if their best hockey of the year and Tim Thomas looks to have regained his form from a year ago. Look for another long run from Boston. Bruins in 6

Florida Panthers (3) vs. New Jersey Devils (6)

Ilya, Kovalchuk, Zach Parise, Travis Zajac and Martin Brodeur lead a very talented and largely overlooked Devils team. But, it looks like people are finally starting to notice the. A six-game winning streak to close the regular season will do that. Many experts are now starting to call New Jersey the dark horse of the East. I tend to agree. Devils in 6

Pittsburgh Penguins (4) vs. Philadelphia Flyers (5)

This is a tough series to call but the Pens have looked "off" in their last few games. I'm really starting to think all the nonsense taking place within the media (Milbury) and during press conferences (Tortorella) is staring to take a toll of the Penguins confidence. However, I do think if Pittsburgh gets past the first round the Cup is theirs to lose. Too bad for Pens fans I don't think they will. Flyers in 7.

I'll have my Western Conference picks up tomorrow. Check back!
