Woo Mornin' Buzz: Will hockey rule the Tri-state area this winter?

There is a possibility that the Tri-state area teams maybe the center of attention this upcoming season. If the NFL and NBA remain locked out and without a CBA, expect the New Jersey Devils, New York Rangers, and New York Islanders to get some extra attention starting in November. Neither team would have to compete against the two football teams, New York Giants and Jets, or the two basketball teams, New York Knicks and New Jersey Nets for entertainment dollars.

This will be great for hockey, especially in New York where majority of the people only care about baseball and migrate to New Jersey for football. Between Northern and Central Jersey, New York City, Long Island, and portions of upstate New York, let's hope all the teams take advantage of this moment.

Good hockey reads

It maybe a long shot but hockey get it's spotlight.

Bold prediction #1: All hockey, all the time

"The Devils are truly built for this time of year."
