The Pittsburgh Penguins have a new Jersey! Sorta, but not really. The design isn't new and the team won't actually be wearing them on the ice. They are for fashion only.

The fact they aren't wearing them on the ice makes this not a big deal at all. If people like them, buy them. If you don't, don't. I won't be because I think the blue is hideous and there's a reason the team bailed on the blue color scheme and went full time black and gold. The blue was a mistake and was fixed. There's no reason to keep pretending it is a big part of the team's history. Like it or lump it the team's history before Mario Lemieux is very meh. I'm glad they won't actually be wearing these on the ice. They are, in my opinion, very ugly. Also, superstitious Sid probably would rather they leave the blue in the past for his sake.
