The Avalanche can move ahead of Dallas into second place in the Central Division with a point Thursday if they can beat Ottawa in the third game of their five-game road trip.
GAME NOTES

Colorado has gone 1-1-0 in the first two games of the trip and is 4-1-2 in the past seven games.
