My only F grade out of the forwards and I feel bad giving it but there are underlying reasons beyond the poor stat line.
Nolan Foote: F
Foote, a former late first rounder in 2019 has just 9 points in 30 career NHL games, and just two goals in the last three. This year when called up mid season for New Jersey, Foote appeared fatigued on the ice. Inexcusable stuff for a 24 year old playing under 10 minutes on most nights.
For a player that had draft day comparisons to James Neal, this failing grade can be not just of this season, but of his career. With a lingering back issue from an injury several years ago, it’s likely we have seen the last of Foote in an NHL sweater.
