As we move forward with picking the best team of all time for the Columbus Blue Jackets, we will move to defense. This won't be as easy for you as you will be asked to pick 4 players. The other reason it will be hard is the defense for the Jackets through it's history has been better described as training to be a bull fighter as they have shown a lot of “ole” defense for years.

There will be plenty of options but I won't list every defenseman that ever put skates on for Columbus which means I am sorry to all the people in the Aaron Johnson fan club (Rick Nash).
