I know its super early, but watching Bedard in these preseason games it is hard to not start to line him up among the current greats…and question how good this kid actually is? Is he the best to come in….ever?
We are currently living in the greatest NHL ever…especially when it comes to talent. There are currently four superstar generational talents in the NHL…maybe more…
For me. McDavid and Crosby are still the tops…. Is Bedard right there with them?
I believe he is. Watching him navigate the game he slows everything down and while he is known for one of the best shots ever, his passing and Hockey IQ are extreme. Vision is right there with McDavid and Crosby.
Next comes Matthews and Hughes….
Bedard reminds me a lot of Hughes. He is not quite the stick handler, but close.. and Connor’s other skills are a tick above Hughes…But it’s close…
I have seen all five of these players enter the NHL and upon entry I would rank them…
