Just got off the phone with a source who confirmed the Islanders are talking to Ottawa and Montreal about Karlsson and Pacioretty..."Both teams believe strongly that the Islanders have the right parts to make such a trade reality...the question is what Lou is willing to give Karlsson or Patches in long term deals...
I have heard though that the Isles would consider moving for Pacioretty as a rental...
The Islanders are definitely being aggressive and have a few more moves to go before this year's team is at all set in stone...
What do you think the Isles would have to give to Ottawa to land Karlsson? How about for Pacioretty?
