UPDATE - The Winnipeg Jets pulled the trigger on a Jacob Trouba deal, sending the defenseman to the New York Rangers for the 20th overall pick in Friday's NHL Draft and blueliner Neal Pionk.
The deal does not contain any conditional picks.

It is sounding very much like a rights trade is in the works...The Islanders and Panthers lead the way...The Leafs are still hanging around this one...they have a lot of other things to work through first...

Speaking of Leafs and working...I hear VERY strong ties to Montreal with Jake Gardiner...
On Provorov...
This will not be an easy deal and it is tied to McAvoy directly I am told. The attitude around the Flyers is very much a "No BS" one right now....which won't help much in this case. Provorov doesn't want a bridge deal. Could be a holdout.

Hearing a return to Alberta is possible....But south of Edmonton...
