Is Auston Matthews Capable of Scoring 100? |

Ok, I know its only 2 games in…..but back-to-back Hattricks?
Auston Matthews NEVER ceases to amaze me. As I have said before, there are two thing he does better than ANYONE in the game now…maybe forever.
1. Matthews can receive passes, control them and turn it on net as efficiently as any player EVER. Leaf players know this and it allows them great freedom when on the ice with Matthews.. They don’t have to be precise, just pass it into Auston’s general area…
2. Matthews disguises his shot and changes the angle of his shot as well as anyone….Brett Hull used to be the best at this…Auston is better…due to his size. His stick length ,ears goalies can’t come out and challenge him..
But 100 goals?
Last year, in my Whacky Predictions (This season’s Whacky Predictions blog come out tomorrow) I predicted Matthews would score 70…Injuries are the only reason he fell short…
He appears like a man on a mission this year…
I could see 100…
