Sorry for the delay, folks. Yesterday, I was involved in an accident, broke my clavicle and a rib, and I ended up with a major concussion. So focusing on writing today has been really tough.
So I’m sorry if this article is relatively short; hopefully, I’ll be back up and at them in the next day or two. I appreciate your patience and your well wishes on Twitter.

If you are at all interested in my predictions for Edmonton/Vegas, Carolina/Washington, I did make my picks in these series last week on the Hockey Buzz Cast once the series prior to the start of the series since they were set.

On Florida and Toronto, I did put a full article out believing that the Panthers would win this series in seven. I did, however, put my confidence percentage on this series going 7 games, but my confidence level in my prediction was only around 53 percent.

As for last night…I picked Washington in 7, and Edmonton in 6

Tonight series, I believe, will be the most difficult series to predict. Both teams have great goalies, perhaps the two best American goalies in the NHL right now; both are very understated in their personalities. And neither one really grabbed the bull by the horns in series one like I expected them to.

Winnipeg’s number one power play is not to be messed with, but Dallas is one of those teams, who plays discipline and takesvery few penalties. And Dallas continues to get healthier and healthier…. So on the street, everyone is saying Dallas will get everybody back. Mark Scheifele is asking if it’s going to play tonight in game one of the series, which is absolutely huge… not only is he their best player, he is the star. That’s the Winnipeg Jets soup…

As for the Dallas Stars, they get a big boost tonight as Jason Robertson returns to the lineup, and don’t be surprised if Miro Heiskanen, the Stars’ best all-around player who has been missing for quite a while due to injury, will return in this series or, Miro May just decide to take a chance on it and go even tonight. Talking to a source, his return date could depend on how the series is performing without him. If Dallas can jump out to a few games lead, it would still be tempting to bring Miro in as long as there’s no risk of re-injury .

These are two teams who came into these playoffs with nothing but full on Stanley Cup expectations. I believe this will be a war, but I also believe that at the end of the day, the Jets are heading to the conference finals in 7.

I apologize for any typos or any thing that sounds like it’s coming out of that field. My concussion is really bad and it’s difficult to focus on things. I’m not that good at focusing on things in the best of conditions as you all know. I have got a lot of request for the inspectors for the other three series and I will put them up in the next couple days or over the weekend along with who would win if the mascot playeddl
