Stars cancel practice, CBJ hold players out due to COVID concerns; Buzz @ 1

January 8, 2021, 9:55 AM ET [20 Comments]

This will likely happen this year and will unfortunately be something we will be keeping our eyes on...

The Dallas Stars have cancelled practice today and there will be no media availability. The Stars have not said this is due to a Covid issue, but of course we can only suspect that Covid is in play and the Stars are being cautious here...

Columbus also announced they have held a number of players out of today’s scheduled practice out of an abundance of caution and in accordance with NHL Covid-19 protocols and will not hold a Group 2 practice this afternoon.

I will be back with my Central Division Preview and on today’s podcast at 1 we are joined by Pete Weber and Kevin Allen at 1 pm.
