Filip Gustavsson has been signed for three years at an AAV of $3.75M. The Wild and Gustavsson avoid arbitration that was scheduled for Friday.

The deal carries a five team no trade clause that kicks in the final year of the contract.

Gus had an excellent breakout season for the Wild with sparking GAA (2.10) and Save Percentage (.931) to go with his 22-9-7 record.

This leaves the Wild with only $1.64 in cap space with Calen Addison their only remaining RFA, still in need of a contract.

This is going to make things very tight for the Wild throughout the season with the $14.7M in dead cap space.

Another spectacular deal from Bill Guerin, who is working the cap beautifully with the limitations that he has to work with. In the process he is getting talent at some very reasonable contracts with length.

That is a topic for another day...
