Per Kevin Weekes on Twitter moments ago and in his traditional fashion, the Predators are making a coaching change behind the bench, with former Preds player and first goal scorer in franchise history, Andrew Brunette, replacing John Hynes as the main man in charge.

Brunette has become a well known name behind the bench over the last few years with his most recent stints in Florida as the team's interim head coach in 2021-22 and in New Jersey as Lindy Ruff's top assistant this past season.

Trotz and Brunette reuniting in a different role is something very interesting to follow, and I am very pleased with this decision Trotz has made here. It'll be exciting to see what's to come as Trotz embraces the draft next month and begins his official tenure July 1.
