2) NHL/KHL agent Shumi Bibaev tweeted on Tuesday that he expects negotiations to begin soon on a contract extension for Flyers restricted free agent Egor Zamula. Zamula's qualifying offer will be $813,750 per Capfriendly.
Soon we're going to conduct negotiations with "Philadelphia" about Egor Zamula and with "Columbus" about Egor Chinakhov. The clubs have already told that they are interested in prolonged contracts of these players.@NHLFlyers@BlueJacketsNHL

3) Today in Flyers History: June 4
1975: The two-time defending Stanley Cup champion Flyers trade center Bill Clement to the Washington Capitals in exchange for the first overall pick of the 1975 Amateur Draft (Mel Bridgman). On week earlier, on May 27, Clement's third-period breakaway goal gave the Flyers a 2-0 lead in the clinching game of the Stanley Cup Final.
2010: The Flyers even up the 2010 Stanley Cup Final at two games apiece with a 5-3 home win over the Chicago Blackhawks in Game 4. Ville Leino scores what proves to be the game-winning goal at 6:43 of the third period. The goal established a 4-1 lead for the Flyers. The Blackhawks draw within 4-3 before a Jeff Carter empty net goal seals the win.
June 4 Flyers Alumni birthdays: Len Barrie (1969), Derian Hatcher (1972), Brandon Manning (1990).
