The Ottawa Senators and RFA defenseman Cody Ceci have agreed to a two-year, $5.6 Million bridge deal ($2.8 Million AAV)

Busy tracking this news this morning.

A source who has been spot on regarding the Habs in the past and used to work within the organization has texted me "Check up on what's happening around the Habs today. Bold move coming."

Montreal and Toronto are two teams with whom many claim to have connections. I have learned to ignore most of them because their connection is either unreliable or just involves one or two people within the organization who themselves are not usually privy to anything on the inside. This source is VERY tuned in. This sounds interesting. I will have an update later today as this develops.

What do you all think Montreal is lacking?

update: I have been hearing that the Flames may actually be the team Montreal is talking to....

Logan Couture added to Team Canada.

Team Canada announced moments ago that they had added Logan Couture to their already stacked roster. Couture replaces the injured jamie Benn. I still think this may be the best Team Canada roster since Wayne and Mario skated together...
