That brings the roster down to 50 skaters and five goaltenders. So, it looks like a few players will sit for both of these back-to-backs against the Sharks, and won't get into the lineup until this weekend's games.
At Sunday's scrimmage in Prince George, a slow start offensively turned into a 4-3 shootout win for Team White, with Linden Vey playing the hero. Alex Friesen led the way offensively with two goals; other scorers were Hunter Shinkaruk, Brendan Gaunce, Mackenze Stewart and Blair Jones.
Ben Kuzma of The Province liked what he saw from Jared McCann on Sunday.
"He drove the net hard and got away a tough falling-to-the-ice shot before linemate Hunter Shinkaruk roofed the rebound. He darted in and out of traffic, had a playmaking presence and was one of the best players on the ice."

Jim Benning outlines the next phase of the exhibition plan here:
It sounds like most of the Canucks top prospects will get into two of the four games on the schedule this week, then Benning says they'll work out the rest of their lineup details from there.
The Utica Comets fly to Lyon, France for their training camp next Monday, September 28th, so most of the players destined for the AHL this year won't be with the Canucks past this weekend.
Benning also mentions that Willie Desjardins will be at all the games from here on out, so he'll have a chance to make some first-hand observations and share his thoughts with the rest of the coaching staff.
It sounds like a good time was had by all at the Kraft Hockeyville celebrations in North Saanich on Sunday. As Codes1087 relayed yesterday, one of the emotional centrepieces of the celebration was the opportunity for 1974 Stanley Cup-winner Bruce Cowick to re-visit the cup and show the engraving of his name to his daughter.

The Panorama Recreation Centre, which officially won Hockeyville, seats just 400 fans, which is why the event was moved to the Q Centre in Colwood, which seats 2,300. All the tickets for tonight's game were free and were distributed through a lottery system, according to this story from Cleve Dheensaw at the Victoria Times-Colonist.
