THE BUZZ
Remember these guys? Sure you do.
And just when you thought the Hawks were playing a few meaningless games at the end of an incredibly successful season, this game could be very important from a purely psychological standpoint. The Canucks are both a very good measuring stick for the Hawks going into the playoffs and a very possible opponent at some point later on.
And there is no Hawk for whom this game is more important than would be #1 goaltender Corey Crawford. Crawford has not been at the top of his game over the Hawks' last couple of contests. For a variety of reasons, the organization would probably like to be able to rely on Crawford through the playoffs. If his play does not improve, they might turn to Ray Emery, if he's healthy and ready to go.
