There are two games on the schedule on Friday at the 2024 World Junior Summer Showcase at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan.

At 1:00 p.m. EDT, Canada will play Finland. Team Canada's non-game group from their last game (vs. Sweden) is expected to play against the Finns. Jett Luchanko, Denver Barkey, Carter Sotheran and Carson Bjarnason were all non-game group (Canada White) against Sweden. Oliver Bonk, a member of Team Canada's 2023-24 World Junior Championship squad, played in the 3-2 loss to the Swedes by Canada Red.

At 4:00 p.m. EDT, Team Sweden (Jack Berglund) will face off against Team USA (Noah Powell).
