The recent chatter regarding the Flyers and Ottawa Senators appears to be connected to Philadelphia moving up into the top 10 of the first round and make a move to find a defenseman who can quarterback their power play.

There may be a fit between the Flyers and Ottawa, who select seventh overall. The Sens are looking to either extend or trade Jakob Chychrun and/or possibly move out Thomas Chabot. Chabot has four years left at $8 million, and a deal involving names such as Joel Farabee, Scott Laughton and the Flyers 12th overall pick is in the wind……
