1) The NHL Draft lottery is tonight at 6:30 p.m. EDT. The Flyers currently hold the default 12th overall pick in the 2024 NHL Draft but, via the lottery, could move up as high as the second overall selection. The Flyers could also drop to 13th or as low as 14th. Below are the odds of potential lottery outcomes pertaining to the Flyers:

2nd overall pick (5.1 percent odds)
3rd overall pick (0.1 percent odds)
4th overall pick (0.1 percent odds)
12th overall pick (85.7 percent odds)
13th overall pick (8.9 percent odds)
14th overall pick (0.2 percent odds)

Teams can move up or down a maximum of 10 spots from their default position. There are two drawings: one for the first overall pick (if mathematically allowed) and, after a reseeding of default picks, one for the second pick.

2) Four different Flyers prospects -- Denver Barkey (London Knights, OHL), Oliver Bonk (London), Alexis Gendron (Drummondville Voltigeurs, QMJHL) and Carter Sotheran (Portland Winterhawks, WHL) -- are set to play in the playoff championship round of their respective major junior leagues. 3) Various members of the Flyers Alumni -- Joe Watson, Jimmy Watson, Bill Barber, Dave Schultz, Orest Kindrachuk and Bob Kelly -- took part in pregame ceremonies on Monday afternoon at Citizens Bank Park before the Phillies vs. Giants game. Joe Watson threw out the ceremonial first pitch.

At age 16, the Smithers, BC, native was offered a tryout with the New York Yankees via famed northwestern scout Eddie Taylor. However, Watson opted to stay with hockey, feeling that he had a better chance of playing professionally in the NHL than being able to work his way up to the Major Leagues. He later played semipro baseball in Kamloops during hockey offseasons, leading the BC League in 1970 with a .403 batting average.
