The Cats return to playoff action in what will no doubt be a hot series against the Boston Bruins.
If you remember, Florida clawed their way back against the B’s in Round 1 of the playoffs last year to advance to the second round after being down 3-1 in the series. It was a stunning series comeback given that the Big Bad Bruins put together the all-time best regular season record, making them the clear favorites to not only win the series, but to take home the Cup.
And so the Bruins will be looking for some serious revenge when these two teams clash tonight, in what I assume will be a super high pace, physical matchup.
This time off for the Panthers could be a double-edged sword, as Rodrigues sort of alludes to above. On one hand, it has no doubt helped guys heal up from Round 1, on the other, Florida could realistically be a step behind from their break in action.
It sounds like Bennett is close to returning, but we will have to wait a bit longer.
Bob in net to hopefully continue his solid play. No lineup changes otherwise.
This series should be one for the ages…
