Matthew Coronato Drops Gloves for First Pro Hockey Fight

Flames top prospect Matthew Coronato showed off a different skillset on Saturday night taking a win in a bout with 2021 8th overall draft selection Brandt Clark.



Coronato took the victory and and added a secondary assist on the Wranglers’ first goal en route to a 3-1 victory over the LA Kings AHL affiliate, the Ontario Reign. Coronato now has 12 goals and 20 assists for 32 points in 30 AHL appearances in the 2023-2024 regular season.

The 13th overall pick in 2020 has three points in three games since being sent down on Jan. 27.
