The Hawks are back at it for a nice and early 1 p.m. puck drop as they make the trip down to Music City to take on the Nashville Predators. They are coming off a 4-2 loss against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Lukas Reichel picked up his first goal of the season on a nice tip on the powerplay. With that goal, the Hawks now have 11 goals scored by players under the age of 21, which puts them second in the entire NHL, trailing only the Anaheim Ducks. Mrazek put on another good performance, stopping 28 of 31 shots for a solid.903 save percentage.

Take a look at today's game. This will be only the third game against Central Division rivals this season and will kick off a crazy stretch of games, including back-to-back games, this week. The Preds are in the middle of their own “retool” as new GM Barry Trotz looks to put his identity on this team. They currently sit dead last in the central division with ten points and are on a four-game skid. This has the makings to be a very bad and very ugly hockey game.

Projected Lines

The lines will look pretty much the same as they did when the Hawks took on Tampa. Taylor Hall could be the lone change, as he will take part in warm-ups and make a game-time decision based on how he feels.

With the Hawks going back to back, in net will be Arvid Soderblom. He will be looking to get back on track after a few rough starts. He stopped 27 of 31 shots for a.871 save percentage last Sunday against the Panthers.

Puck Drop is at 1 p.m. central, and you can catch the action locally on NBCSCH. As always, let's go Hawks!
