Wild Take on Rebuilding Blues To Wrap 4-Game Trip

Four game road trips wraps tonight in St. Louis against the rebuilding Blues. This will be the Wild's first look at the Blues since they jettisoned Vladimir Tarasenko, Ryan O'Reilly, and Ivan Barbashev at the trade deadline.

The Blues made the decision to move forward and load up on prospects for a rebuild, rather than keep the players that got them to the promised land in 2019. That isn't always the popular decision with the fan base but in order to get back to where they ultimately want to be it was the right and timely decision.

That however does not mean that the Blues are going to roll over for anyone, especially their Central Division foes from Minnesota. They would love to play the spoiler role and make the Wild regret their trip to St. Louis.

Marcus Foligno left Sunday's game with a lower body injury and will be out of theblineup tonight, and considered day to day.

Marc-Andre Fleury gets the net after Filip Gustavsson had his first rough outing in nearly 5 four months Sunday in thw Wild's 5-4 overtime defeat in Arizona.

Sammy Walker gets into the lineup and will jump onto the line with Ryan Hartman and Mats Zuccarello. Sam Steel slides down into Foligno's place on the line with Freddy Gaudreau and Oscar Sundqvist.

Jonas Brodin will again miss tonight's game but is closer to rejoining the club and could play this weekend when the Wild host Boston and Washington on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

It's always Hockey Day in The State of Hockey!
