Wild/Flames Both Look To Build On Recent Success

Road trip stop #2 is Calgary tonight. The Flames have won two in a row and three of the last four after dropping three straight. Calgary sits currently in 5th place in the Pacific and the team has been up and down as they look to for consistency of their own.

This is a different looking Flames squad without Matthew Tkachuk and Johnny Gaudreau. Jonathan Huberdeau and Nazim Kadri have both significantly underperformed to date as the replacement adds for the departed Tkachuk and Gaudreau.

For the Wild they too have struggled to find that game that we have grown accustomed to over the last couple of seasons. They have won a season high four straight but it is has not been all that convincing.

The lineup remains the same as Sunday in Dallas with Jonas Brodin still out but looking like he could be ready possibly Friday in Edmonton.

Nic Patan is still skating with Matt Boldy and Freddy Gaudreau which has totally become a head scratcher. Boldy needs to have some help in order to capitalize on his skill level.

Marc-Andre Fleury gets the net as he looks to rebound after a subpar final period in Dallas.

It's always Hockey Day in The State of Hockey!
