RAISING HELL: Devils Win 9 Straight, "Sorry Lindy" Chants, Bratt Pack |

The fun is back at the Rock!
The New Jersey Devils have won 9 straight and now have the NHL’s longest winning streak after Vegas Golden Knights lost to the St. Louis Blues.
Thoughts
1. Tomas Tatar is a streaky player and right now, he is as hot as a pistol. For the second straight game, he got things started for New Jersey by scoring the game’s first goal.
2. Akira Schmid got the start and performed well enough for the Devils to get the victory with 16 saves. Schmid is 2-0-0 with the Devils. Nico Daws, however, has been assigned to Utica as Devils goaltender Vitek Vanecek will travel with the Devils for their Canadian road trip.
3. “Sorry Lindy” chants were heard throughout at Prudential Center. Nearly a month ago during the Devils’ home opener, “Fire Lindy” chants rained down from Devils fans as they were disgusted with the team’s performance on the ice that night. When asked after the game, Devils head coach Lindy Ruff said he accepted the apology. Ruff suggested that one day that the fans and him would sit down for beer and laugh about it. Let’s hope this actually happens.
4. The infamous Bratt Pack and group were on hand at the Prudential Center. Bryan, who runs the @TheBrattPack63 Twitter account, sold group Devils tickets to last night’s game and met up with his followers at American Whiskey across the street from Prudential Center. After the game, the group that purchased tickets got to take a picture on the ice. Suddenly coming out of the tunnel came Jesper Bratt to greet them. Just a surreal moment that was caught on MSG Network on the post game show.
