The Anaheim Ducks have signed defenseman Tyson Hinds to an entry-level contract.

The three-year deal carries a $925,000 cap hit.

Hinds is 19 years old and was selected in the third round of the 2021 NHL Draft. This past season, the defenseman managed 12 goals and 35 points in 61 games, split between the Rimouski Oceanic and Sherbrooke Phoenix.

The defenseman is currently attending training camp with the Ducks and is likely to return to the QMJHL for the coming season.
