According to The Atheltic's, Michael Russo, Minnesota Wild franchise forward, Kirill Kaprizov, is safely back in the U.S. Reports are that he landed in New York from Russia and is expected back in Minnesota tomorrow.

This is great news with the unrest in Russia and the ongoing conflict in the Ukraine.

It was previously reported that Kaprizov had twice been denied entry into the U.S. first from Dubai and then again when he tried to enter through the Caribbean Islands.

The third time appears to be the charm as Kirill came through Turkey.

Wild GM, Bill Guerin, had been asked numerous times about the Kaprizov situation and he would not comment, knowing the delicate nature of the situation.

Great news to have #97 back in the U.S.
