*As was reported yesterday by Kevin Allen on the podcast, there is a strong belief that Brent Burns will be moved. Kevin did not give any possible destinations... In checking with my sources... Columbus, Philly, Florida, Toronto all possible...If San Jose retains some salary...

*Jack Campbell may be getting more than $6 million per year from Edmonton..The Oilers must feel they are closer to a Cup than Toronto who is unwilling to pay their starter 5...

*I believe the Leafs feel they can sign Marc-Andre Fleury to a one year deal, but I keep hearing how much Fleury liked it in Minnesota and they are waiting on this...

*I keep hearing Malkin and the Panthers as a match. The Red Wings may also make a play for Malkin...

*While I still believe the Preds will get Forsberg signed, there is a strong feeling growing out there that Forsberg could head to LA.. His wife is in the entertainment industry and the Kings are hell bent on adding scoring...

*People keep telling me how Montreal is leaning towards Juraj Slafkovsky at the first overall pick..I am not buying it yet....I think Wright is such a great and solid center for years to come...
